DISCLAIMER: This post is going to contain a lot of Minecraft Jargon. A lot of people may not understand this post. Sorry if you don’t.

The new Minecraft update is here! 1.17 part 1 was released on June 8th. Part 1 added new blocks, and the Goat, and the Axolotl. Part 2 will have new cave generation, and new mountain generation. The block limit will now be 320 blocks. It was previously 256 blocks, so this is a HUGE change.

I am a little sad about the splitting of the update into two parts, since I am really looking forward to the new generation. But, because of the virus, the update has to be split into two parts. I understand that virus has to be taken seriously, but I’m still sad about it.

Me and my friend are making a server on the snapshots as they come. We don’t want to play on the official part 1 release since it doesn’t have the new generation. The snapshots have the new cave generation, but the mountains are still not fully there (Me and my friend play in the Java edition, but the bedrock edition snapshots have the new mountain generation).

Goats are probably going to be very annoying, since they can knock you off of anything. Even the baby ones. Axolotls look pretty cute. But they can help you in attacking the ocean monuments. Ocean monuments are probably going to be a lot easier because of them. I would just stroll up with an army of axolotls, and a cow. I could probably clear it in less than 30 minutes. Which is VERY good (for me).

I can’t wait to boot up the server with me and my friend and just spend HOURS on it. If you read my blog about the last world I had with this friend, you would know it’s very fun. Our new ravine base is going to be AWESOME. We also plan on building a second base on two mountains. I hope it turns out well. Even if it doesn’t, at least I’ll have fun. Thanks for reading.
